Question about ovulation tests

Specifically the ones with the 2 lines

let's say for example I BD'd on Friday night (just hypothetically, of course). On Saturday, I took an ovulation test and saw 2 lines. Does this mean that there is no way I ovulated prior to that day

what I am asking is once I ovulate, will the OPK still show 2 lines or not?

It could as there is always some level of LH in your system. Sometimes it's not enough for the test to detect it, but other times it is, even if it's the faintest of lines.

i know many women who take the test for two more days after their positive & they mostly find that they get 2 days of positive tests...

so if the 2 lines were ALMOST the same color, would that mean that I had not ovulated yet?

i'd honestly say you are ovulating if the lines are almost the same color - mine never got TRULY darker than the other - but it was the darkest i had seen and that was good enough for me!
