Question about Ovulation
The past 5 months my cycle has been 28 days on the dot. Last month because we decided to TTC this month my cycle was 30 days. I think AF was late due to a change in my working out schedule. Do you still think I should use the 28 days to calculate my ovulation or the 30 days?

Re: Question about Ovulation
The truth is that even if you know your average cycle days, you still need to know your luteal phase to have a good idea of when you O.
Your LP starts the day after O and ends the last day before AF shows.
For instance, I have a 25 day cycle. Based on OPK's and the CBEFM (and CM) I O on CD 12 or 13. This makes my LP 12 days (give or take).
Also, the only real way to know when you O, is by temping.
If you are not ready to start with the OPK's or temping, then I would say to stick with the 28 day cycle and assume a 14 day LP. That tends to be the "norm".

Re: Question about Ovulation
Thanks for the input. This is our first month TTC for baby number 2. We were very fortunate with DS to get PG right away so with number 2 we are going to see what happens and if I am not preggo in a few months then try OPK's etc. I will use day 14 right now. That is what I was thinking too. Thanks again!!!
