Question about OPK's

So now that I am out this month.. trying to prepare for next cycle to keep my mind off things.. Ugh..

What are your suggestions with using the kit? I know to start on CD10, but once I get the smiley, how many days after do you continue??

tips for using OPKs...

1. try to do a 4 hour hold - you can do a 3 hour - but i always personally always tried for as close to a 4 hour as possible.

2. try to limit what you drink during your hold. the hormone you are testing for can be diluted by whatever you drink.

3. test between 2:00 and 8:00. The hormone you are testing for is one that builds while you are awake (which is why FMU is a no no unless you are using the clear blue easy fertility monitor ((cbefm)))

i never tested past once i got my smiley or dark enough lines - but that is your own personal decision...i know many girls do..
