Question about OPK

Hey Ladies! DH and I just started trying this month. I bought the First Response tests and I am worried that I am not using them correctly. I usually test around between 4 and 5pm. Is this a good time? Also, two days ago we saw a very faint line but the past few days there has only been the test line. Is this normal? I have irregular periods so I am paranoid that I am going to miss my O days.

TIA!!!

Re: Question about OPK

i prefer the digiitals because they are not open for interpretation... you see the Chat Icon and thats it... you dont have to worry if the line is darker than the test line, etc...

the time youre testing is fine...

the LH surge doesnt last very long so its normal to only see it one day

Re: Question about OPK

Thanks! Also I was reading that you shouldn't pee for 4 hours prior to testing? Is this accurate? There is no way I can go for 4 hours without using the bathroom, lol.

Re: Question about OPK

I have only used the digital OPKs. In my opinion they are worth the extra $$ b/c you dont have to interpret the lines. Good luck!
