Question about OHSS

We started another cycle of Gonal-F last night at 600iu. Our last cycle I was taking 300iu & then 450iu by the end. I had no OHSS issues. But I'm worried about this cycle because of the very high dosage. I'm trying to keep it out of my head but just wondering for anyone who's gone through it; are there signs I should watch out for? Also, any thing I can do to help avoid it; I had heard drinking plenty of water helps? And will exercise bring it on? Not strenuous exercise; just hoping to start walking with DH this weekend.

They treated me as if I was going to have OHSS because they retieved a high # of eggs (27) but I fortunately never had any of the symptoms that go along with it...I have read on the boards that you should drink a lot of fluid and was really suprised that my RE has you do just the opposite (limiting fluid intake) so you may want to check with your specific RE...After my ER I had to monitor my fluid output and intake for a few days and was put on a medication (sorry, cant rememember the name right now)....You will be very closely monitered by your RE so that they can adjust the dosage according if you start to show any signs of it- sudden weight gain etc....Hopefully you won't even have to worry about it

Thanks; I know it's rare but I'm just one of those people that imagine the worst
I will see what happens when I go back on Monday to get checked.
