question about morning sickness

I was wondering, for those of you that had it, did it start at 6 weeks on the dot? Or did you just wake up one day and it started?

Did food aversions/cravings start then too?


I don't have really any symptoms right now, but I'm worried that it's going to start very soon! I will be 6 weeks on Tuesday.

I'm just trying to get an idea of what I can expect. Thanks!

I was abnormal so my response really won't help! I had nausea/food aversions since implantation. I just knew something wasn't right. I didn't have a bad week persay. It was more of an on/off kinda thing. Like every few days I'd have some nausea again which makes sense considering hormonal surges happen every few days. I thought I was going to get hit hard at the 8 week mark but my body just kept doing the same thing it's been doing since day 1 (thank god!)

With DS it started at 6w on the dot! With this pregnancy it was even a little earlier at 5.5w.

5-6 weeks mine started up and it hit me like a ton of bricks!

Pretty much 6 weeks on the dot. One thing with me was eating tons of carbs and drinking juices helped me. Im eating meat/ chicken for the 1st time tonight, hoping its good.

Mine actually started the day I got my BFP I wasnt vomitting but I was gagging a lot. That was one of the reasons I decided to test at 10DPO. It came on full force about 2 weeks later (around 6 weeks) thats when I started having food aversions and vomitting.

Hmm - it sounds like I should be prepared on Tuesday then! I'm so nervous!

For me, I got food aversions first, and then it kicked in, with the last 2.

With #1, I was fine one day, queazy the next. It also ended like that. Sick one day, great the next.

mine started at 7 weeks and went away at 14 weeks

mine started at 5w4d. Felt nauseous all day and then starting puking at night. It lasted until 11-13w

I only started to have a bit of smell aversion, aversion to meat, and a bit of nausea starting around 6 1/2 weeks. In steadily got worse from there.

6 weeks 3 days here (I think, I find out for sure tomorrow) and I haven't gotten any ms yet. Just occasional bouts of nausea, and some gagging, but not really so bad at all.

6 weeks on the dot for me with both of my pregnancies. I gagged everymorning some days actually threw up I lost my appetite for a few weeks cause i couldnt stomach anything or any smells. I snacked on what i could. It lasted till 12 weeks for my first pregnancy and with this one 14 weeks. It was god awful but it does pass.

With my 1st the m/s didn't start until after I was 6 weeks.

With my 2nd it was one of the 1st signs that I was pg. I was nauseous a couple of day before AF was due.

With #1 I had pretty strong food aversions from 6 weeks on to about 20 weeks. With #2 I was just sick all of the time. Didn't matter what I ate.

With DS at 5.5 weeks the barfing began and pretty much ensued through whole pregnancy. With this pregnancy (DD) I was a little nauseous first trimester. I never threw up. I have been very nauseous/throwing up/dry heaving since 35 weeks until now but I think a lot of that is stress and anxiety coupled with the hormones.

Basically, go with the flo and don't expect it. Some people never get it and if you are "waiting" for it then it may possibly begin. I think a lot could be atributed to being "mental". I hope you feel good and don't get any MS.

Mine started at 6w to the DAY!!

It subsided at 9w but, I'll be 10w tomorrow and I just got sick this morning!!! (for the first time)
