If you take your car to mechanic, and they aren't able to fix the problem, do they still charge you for labor costs? The mechanic has had our car almost a week, every day telling us they have consulted with the dealer and they're trying to figure out the piece that is needed, they've had several different parts ordered from the dealer, etc etc and now today they said the part that is needed to fix the noise is no longer made (our car is only 4 years old) and they are going to put it back together and will call us when its ready to be picked up. Just wondering what we should expect when we go there? They've had it almost a week, put a lot of time into trying to fix it, gone back & forth to the dealer but we're getting a car back that isn't fixed...
