Question about making your own baby food
Do you NEED a food processor? I have a "fake" Magic Bullet blender - will I be able to make it in that? Or do I need to go out and buy something new?

Re: Question about making your own baby food
I think that as long as it purees the food well you will be fine! I have used my food processor as well as the little hand blender attachment and they both worked great.

Re: Question about making your own baby food
depending on the food i mash them, puree (in a food processor) or blend (in a blender)

Re: Question about making your own baby food
I use my Magic Bullet for almost everything. Things that are really tough to puree smooth, I use my Montel William Health Master LOL

Re: Question about making your own baby food
I do use my food processor but I've also used the blender. I even mashed some stuff with a hand masher now that DD can eat 'chunkier' foods.

Re: Question about making your own baby food
The magic bullet is just fine! I did all of Ezra's food in the mini Cuisinart chopper/grinder which is similar to the magic bullet.

Re: Question about making your own baby food
I think you'd be fine with that. I used a stick mixer for everything and it worked great.

Re: Question about making your own baby food
nope. I used a colander and a pestle to push the food through (I have an old school metal round hole colander)
but even going buck wild on it with a fork would work!!!!

Re: Question about making your own baby food
I preferred the blender in the beginning because it got the food finer. I never used the magic bullet personally, but I am sure it would be ok.
