Question about LIRR Fares and kids
I am heading out to Smithtown tomorrow and is it my understanding that kids only pay 1.00 on non-peak fares?
Trying to figure out if it makes sense to drive or take the train. I am worried about traffic tomorrow in the early evening but also will the train be crowded as well!
Advice?

Question about LIRR Fares and kids
Train should be pretty empty- it's a weekend run! Kids under 5 are free, 5-11 are $1, over 11 are half fare.
