Question about employment verification

My husband forgot to add a job on his employment verification for a job. He worked there briefly, 2 months, while he was still employed by another wmployer. He left ny, still employed, on vacation, to help his dying grandparent and took a job in another state to help with bills. He was there for 2 months and honestly forgot. He left on good terms, should he call or email the HR woman and tell her?

I don't see the harm in doing so. I think they would appreciate his thoroughness and honesty

I wouldn't bother to be honest. They might look at it as "how could he forget", and since it was during another employment period, there isn't a gap right?

I would say it depends on what type of job he is going for and where he is applying.. Are you doing a full background check up or are they a smaller place that would probably not care or notice?
