Question about Drs filling out forms for work...
I spoke w/ HR today to request a leave of absence (I only work part time, stopped working this week, and plan to return in September, which is fine with my direct supervisor), and they are mailing me a packet with a form to be filled out by my Dr. I questioned the length of time I hoped to be out, and they said they go by whatever the Dr. writes on the form.
If I tell my Dr that I want to be out until September he should write that for me right??
Do Drs. ever give a hard time about stuff like this? I go to a huge practice and see a handful of different Drs.
Please share your experiences? TIA
(ETA that none of this is paid time, it is an unpaid leave of absence)

Re: Question about Drs filling out forms for work...
Large practices usually have a department that fills out forms - they are well versed in it.
I think the woman asked me when I wanted to go back and put it on the form for FMLA.
