question about dollar store OPKs
I tried using a pack of OPKs from Big Lots- They came with 20 and are just strips. They were actually pretty terrible, I ended up using a few at one time just because I wasn't sure if I was using it right. I was TOTALLY against those stupid strips and hurried out to get a pack of digitals.
HOWEVER...... then I tried one from the dollar store (with the little dropper) and it's actually fun to use!  I like watching that little space change color before the bar appears!  Anyway here's my question....
I had the control bar appear right away but the test bar appeared after about a minute but was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO LIGHT! It says on the box that if it's light, that's not considered a surge and it has to be the same color as the control bar.. but does that mean ANYTHING? Does it mean maybe I'm close to ovulating? Also, do you wait the full 10 minutes? I waited like 5 and when all I saw was the light line, I tossed it.

The faint line doesn't mean anything it just means its negative...but you may be "O"ing soon...it happens to me it comes faint and everyday it got darker, but everyone is different.
The test line has to be the same color or darker then the control line.

The test line has to be the same color or darker then the control line.

Thank you! I hope it means that I will soon! As you probably already know based on all my posts it's my first month off the pill. I'm not expecting to get pregnant this month as much as I would LOVE to! But what would make me just as thrilled is if I see that my cycle is normal!  I was on the pill for 10 years and can't remember the last time I had a regular period, crazy periods was the reason I went on the pill in the first place!!

I was on the pill for 10 years and can't remember the last time I had a regular period, crazy periods was the reason I went on the pill in the first place!!
You never know, I heard lots of stories on here and from ppl I know that they got Pg after being on the pill for years and it didn't take long at all...just be patient since your body is still adjusting...hope this is your month!
