Question about buying airline tickets
I have to buy airline tix to Colorado for July....will prices go down as I wait or go up?
I'm not sure what happens...

Try and check prices on Tues. b/c the prices are a little cheaper but you are so far out I wonder if its better to buy it now. Prices are high also b/c of fuel prices. I bought a few tix for work and a R/T ticket to Cleveland was a little more than $400.

Im thinking prices are just going to rise with the price of fuel going up... Just my speculation so I'd buy the tix now

check kayak.com and it will forecast the prices.

Prices will probably go up. However if you book and they go down contact the airline. I booked tickets to Colorado before 5 months in advance. 2 months prior to leaving i was checking again for a friend and the same flights were $150 cheaper pp (6 people). I called Delta and got a refund straight away. $900 got us a nice kitty for our ski trip.

Ohhh, I looked at kayak, I had no idea they could forecast....cool! Thanks!
Most likely I'll buy this weekend...I feel like fuel goes up in the summer and I need to have a ticket for sure (I can't fly standby to this). THANKS!

I would book through Orbitz b/c if someone books the same flight cheaper, they automatically send you a check for the difference after your trip. This has happened to me several times
