Question about an OB/Gyn appt

I recently saw an OB for the first time (just for a yearly exam- we aren't TTC yet but will soon so I wanted to switch over to an OB and get familiar with the practice/make sure I like them/etc.)

Well, he did all the yearly exam things, fun.. fun... but he never asked me to pee in a cup I didn't say anything about this at the time but I thought this was pretty standard for a yearly exam.

I've never peed in a cup at a yearly exam.

even with the new GYN i went to in Nov, didnt ask me to pee either.

At my last gyn I used to do this for yearly exams... so .. seeing someone new not do this, I got nervous thinking .. "I hope he knows what he's doing"

Ahh I can't wait to actually start TTC
