Question about 4 month old and schedule
DD is 20 weeks today. She takes about three naps a day.
One in the AM from 9-9:30 One in the afternoon from like 12-3 One in the evening from about 5-5:30
Is it ok for her to take an evening nap? Is it common?
When she goes to sleep at 7:30 she sleeps through the night till around 6:30 AM.

Re: Question about 4 month old and schedule
If she's STTN without issue and for as long as she is I'd just follow her lead. She'll drop that late nap soon though most likely and just have a morning nap and an afternoon nap. Her morning nap will probably go a bit longer.

Re: Question about 4 month old and schedule
I think as long as she is STTN then you are fine. My DD takes her last nap around 4PM

Re: Question about 4 month old and schedule
DD had the SAME sched!
They need 3 naps until 6-9mths. DD is now 7mths and depending on length of afternoon nap, still needs that 3rd nap. It is short, but still takes it

Re: Question about 4 month old and schedule
that sounds about right. DD is 4 months too and takes a morning, afternoon, and nighttime nap. The time varies on all 3 naps because she naps after she is awake 2 hours. the middle nap is always the longest. the nighttime one does not affect her STTN. she goes down between 8 and 9 and wakes up between 7 and 9. eventually she will go down to 2 naps but i'm waiting for her cue. right now she still needs 3 and both mommy and baby are happy to have all 3
