Question - hoping you can help
I am an avid poster, but like many others before me an alias has been created to protect the innocent and also the eyes of others.
AF reared her ugly face March 29. That was the last time I had seen her. It is now officially 60 days and the only sign I have of her is major break out.
I have taken 3 HPT and all have been BFN. My question, I had taken all the tests at night. Would that have an effect on my results?
I know I should make an appt with my OB, but like many other things in my life if I make an appointment then she'll show up. So I have been putting off making the appointment.
Any help, support or direction would be great

Re: Question - hoping you can help
Well by now if you were PG you'd be getting a positive on an HPT any time of day. I would say it's probably something else like an anovulatory cycle or perhaps a hormonal issue. Sorry but you should see your Dr.

Thank you ladies for your response. I have just done a little research on anovulatory cycle. I will definately be calling my doctor because I just dont want to put this off especially with the information I read.

Re: Question - hoping you can help
Def call the dr. I had an annovulatory cycle and it straightened itself out after 1 month, due to extreme stress. If Af has not shown up since March, something is going on. I would call and she /he will probably give you medication to bring on AF . HTH

Re: Question - hoping you can help
Do you have any idea when you ovulated, or think you ovulated? Have your cycles been consistently shorter in the past or have you just gone of BCP?

Re: Question - hoping you can help
You should call the doctor. I have a similar situation as I am on CD59 and no AF yet. I've taken several HPT's also. I made a doctors appointment for next week.

Re: Question - hoping you can help
Thank you all for your responses. It has truely been comforting.
Princss: Thank you. That did help. How did it straighten itself out? Did you get any medication? I am thinking this has got to be all stressed and health related. I am surprised I am not all gray with the enormous amount of stress I have been going through.
SweetCaroline: I honestly do not know when I ovulated or even if I did. I had gone off BCP a while ago and my cycles were pretty consistant. Always the same amount of time and always light. This is the first time it has gone this long. The most was 45 days.
I did not make the call today. I was a big baby. I left myself a voice mail on my machine at work to call tomorrow, no excuses
