Question---bedding related---do you think this would be strange?
My mom made the bedding, bumpers, bed skirt and curtains for DD #1 before she was born. We, again aren't finding out the gender of this child. Do you think it would be strange to use the same bedding or should I ask my mom to make a different set? Of course, I could buy a set but I think that would be insulting to my mom since she sews & quilts.
I appreciate all of your opinions. TIA

My bedding wasn't handmade , but was gender neutral - and it seems like we are just going to use the same bedding for # 2 since we are again not finding out the gender

Why not use it again? It's sentimental because you're mom made it and will be sentimental when you can say all your kids used it too!

i am reusing DD#1's bedding for DD#2. i didn't invest much with DD#1 so we'll use the bumper and the crib skirt for a bit and buy new sheets.
the way i see it, is i'm going to spend the $$$ for the "big girl rooms" when they are old enough to have a say in the decor...

Thanks for all of the feedback. We'll end up using the same set. Just wanted to make what I was thinking wasn't so far out there.
