Q about KitchenAid mixers
Do you keep the bowl on the mixer all the time and do you have a dust cover?
I've been looking for a dust cover that matches the mixer color (which is impossible) but they look like they won't fit with the bowl on it.
BB&B has them online but not in their stores. The ones I've found on eBay and Amazon are fairly fugly too.
I wish I knew how to sew, I'd just make one myself.

Re: Q about KitchenAid mixers
our bowl is always on the mixer, we don't have a cover, so we give it a rinse before we use it. We need to get a cover

No dust cover. The bowl is always on. I wash it before I use it.

Re: Q about KitchenAid mixers
My mom bought me a cover last year - I believe she ordered it online directly from Kitchenaid?

Me too. I don't want to cover it--I like the way it looks. ( Mine's red!) I clean the outisde when I clean the counters & I wash the bowl when I am going to use it.

Yeah, that's why I wanted the color to match the mixer - but no one makes pistachio covers. Khaki, grey, white, black. Boring!

Re: Q about KitchenAid mixers
I don't have a cover for mine either. I love the way it looks. I keep the bowl on and then before I make something just rewash it.
But I did buy the cover last year for one of my friends at a cooking store in Tanger. I think it was only $20 there. I knew she wanted white and I cannot remember if they had different colors.
