Pull ups and the 3 day method
I plan on starting the 3 day method for potty training after the holidays. My daughter is 2 1/2 and is in nursery school full day. I took off Thursday and Friday so I plan to start Thursday and train throughout the weekend. I was told by the director that she has to wear a pull up to school as they will not change a poo diaper. I was hoping not to use pull ups at all. Should I send her in undies? That seems a little risky. Please share what you have done.

Pull ups and the 3 day method
I got rid of diapers/pull ups completely. But ds daycare will change them. Personally I feel pull ups hinder the process

I'm confused, do you mean a poop accident if she's in undies? What have they been doing up until this point? I honestly wouldn't try to plan it until you Dr how she's doing. You may find that you have little concern she'll have an accident by the time she goes back and you may find that she isn't ready.

Re: Pull ups and the 3 day method
What do they do for poop now? Depends on the kid. DD pooped in potty right away with three day method. DS had 3 months of pooping in his underwear.

Pull ups and the 3 day method
When she poops in her diaper they change it but I was told if I send her in undies and she has a poop accident they will not change her so I feel like I would be taking a gamble by not sending her in pull ups.

What did your DD's specific teacher say about poop accidents? My DD's nursery school also said that because they aren't a daycare facility they can change diapers, but not assist with pottying. However, my DD's teacher told me directly that they would always assist with any accidents and help with wiping, even though they technically aren't allowed to. This was a huge concern I had when I enrolled her because while she isn't potty trained at the moment I'm planning on doing the 3 day method over President's week.
