Puggle OWNERS Come In!!!
What do you do to reduce shedding? I was thinking of the Furminator but I'm afraid it's going to irritate my dog's skin. What else do you use?

whats furminator? my dad just vaccums alot, and combs him. And my vet gave us a shampoo that if we wanted we could us everyday.
Do your puggles scratch alot? Ours does, and our vet thinks its allergies.

It does work well, but I do find that I have to use it on him at least two times a week, he shed's a lot.  I don't find that it irritates his skin, I was afraid of that in the beginning. I just don't press down hard when brushing him.

He definitely does scratch a lot. It probably does have to do a lot with allergies. They get bad allergies from their pug side. A furminator is like a comb with really fine teeth that helps grab the hair better than a normal brush. Here's a link to it. Furminator

My Puggle hardly sheds. I brush her once a week with a brush the groomer gave us.

Thanks.. i have to get that, my dad has been using a flee comb on him, it was the only thing that would get the fur off and not fly all over the room.

Another question: Does your dogs nails grow really fast? Codys grows so quickly that even the vet is amazed. He wont let us cut them, so we have to constantly pay the vet to do it. There arent any groomers in the area.
