Public Toilets?
how do you bring your child to use a public toilet? your own bathroom's fine because you know it's clean. but public restrooms are gross! help, pls.

Re: Public Toilets?
I have those super large potty seat covers that are a little thick too that I got from One Step Ahead. Best thing ever. And I'm lucky so far in that my son can stand when he pees, so he doesn't have to touch much, but when my DD does, I have no idea I use the potty seat cover and a portable, fold-able potty seat that I carry with me in my bag!

Re: Public Toilets?
I use seat covers or use toilet paper. I make sure to wipe the seat down myself the best that I can. It IS nasty, but when the kids have to go, you have to do your best to get them to the potty.

Re: Public Toilets?
I'm not there yet but I'm thinking the Medela wipes may come in handy here. You can quickly wipe the seat down and plop your DC on. I figure they are good for changing tables, why not toilet seats?
I hate public restrooms.

Those potty seats that you carry with you skeeve me out since they go ON the toilet seat and then you have to put that germ infested thing back in your bag

My gf wipes hers down with Lysol wipes when she uses it. She literally travels with Lysol wipes--which doesn't seem like a bad idea. I skeeve everything
