Does anyone know if you can get disability for a PT job if you are on the books and pay into disability ?

Re: PT disability
If you get the short term disability benefit and pay into it, you most likely will be covered to some degree. I would speak to you HER to find the specific terms, there are a lot of variations between policies.

Re: PT disability
A girls at my company recently had a big problem with p/t disability. She ended up getting paid nothing! It probably vaires by company though.

Re: PT disability
I think if you normally work PT and have the benefit through your employer you should be covered...if you normally work FT and then go to PT you might not be covered.
Check with both your HR team and your care provider. My midwife was reluctant to put me out PT because she thought my insurance co. would deny the claim as you can't be "part-pregnant"...you're either out 100% or you're OK to work 100%....
Good luck!
