PSA- Always check your receipts !
I was at BRU today buying refills for my Diaper Dekor ( amongst other things) ...I thought the total sounded high, but as always I was in a rush and DD was 'done" shopping....
After I started driving , DD fell asleep so I hit Starbucks drive-thru and while on line I look at my receipt...
Instead of the refills ringing up as refills, it showed that I bought the Diaper Dekor pail itself  ..the UPC on the box didnt match the receipt
I immediately called the store so they didnt think I was pulling a fast one , FINALLY got a mgr. and told her what happened..She seemed to think it was inpossible...I said thatt DD was sleeping in the car, but if she sent someone out, maybe they could scan it and see if they could figure out what went wrong...
Sure enough it rang up as the pail...
So I got my $26.00 back and was on my merry way...Wonder how many other people this happened to that didnt notice !
So PSA....Even in a rush, check your receipts

YES! Definitely check your receipts. Someone posted that on Black Friday, a few things didn't ring up as the advertised price!
This weekend I went to buy a present. They had a buy one, get one 50% off deal. When they rang up, they were both full price! Thankfully I was not with DS and was paying attention. I even showed them the email with the ad (I didn't have a print out) and the first manager actually said that it wasn't the same item despite the picture being the same... they actually said that the picture has nothing to do with the item on sale. Say what?!?! I had to speak to another manager and he had them do a manual price adjustment.
Definitely check your receipts!

I always watch the screen as everything gets scanned (I hate old navy for not having that little screen!). At TRU a few weeks ago the 3-in-1 trike was on sale for $69.99 originally $89.99. I had a 20% off buy buy baby coupon so the girl scanned it and it came out to $71.99. She kept ringing other stuff up and I told her to wait b/c the trike rang up more than TRU had it on sale for. The manager had to adjust it to 20% off the sale price... then it came to $54. I really wonder how many people don't even look.

happened to me one time at BRU/TRU I got home an there was something odd on my bill. I called the store and they said sometimes when they ring up the rewards cards odd items will appear on the bill.
I went back and they took it off the bill! IT was only like $5 but still!

Happened to me at Target a couple of months ago. I happened to check my receipt with DH that night and it did seem high but like you I was in a hurry so I did not notice right away until DH asked me for the price of an item and I realize a mistake on 2 unrelated items I had bought also. They rang 2 items worth $10 each at $50 each.
So I went back to the store. The woman would have never believed me until I showed her the receipt and she re-ranged it and it showed $9.99 Then she believed me. I told her that there was NO WAY the item could be $50. It was a cardboard puzzle.

No, she was just lucky. They don't take BBB coupons.

I def watch the screen as each item is being rung in... but sometimes I need to pay attention to DS and I may miss something, so I make a habit to check the reciept as soon as I get in the car. I had a few errors done, and they were corrected right away. Last week food shopping the cashier rung me in 5x for something I bought once...and it was $11...really? lol

No, she was just lucky. They don't take BBB coupons.
Some do, if they are within a certain mile radius of BBB. Definitely check if you can use them at your TRU or BRU!

Some do, if they are within a certain mile radius of BBB. Definitely check if you can use them at your TRU or BRU!
They don't in Carle Place. And BBB is just down the road.
