PSA - Holiday Shopping Tips

(Actually, these apply all year long, but moreso during the holidays, of course)

Tip: Do NOT stop at the exit doorway to check your flooking receipt. Do NOT stop at the end of the register that you just paid at either.

If you MUST check and see if they charged you 32 cents instead of 31 cents, pull over somewhere where you aren't blocking EVERYONE from getting out.

Tip: Do NOT stand at the exit doorway and chat it up with your buddy that you just ran into oblivious to the angry crowd of people accumulating behind you, that wants nothing more than to run you over with their shopping carts.

Tip: It says EXIT for a reason. STOP using it as an entrance, once again, blocking everyone who is trying to LEAVE.

Tip for Parking Lot Driving: Like it or not, pedestrians have the right of way.

Tip for Parking Lot Pedestrians: Like it or not, it will hurt if a car hits you, so watch where you are going and try not to hang around blocking parking spaces (looking at your damn receipt!!!!) that people are dying to get into.

If you are in front of me & are spending 10 minutes arguing with the cashier over an expired $2 off coupon, I will offer the $2 to you to get out of the store.

Don't hold hands with your DH, your 3 kids and grandma and block the whole walkway. Please form 2 seperate groups!! We only have 10 feet of walking space to work with.

Carefully consider if you really need to bring your entire extended family with you to the store before entering.

If DH/DW wanted to go shopping ...they would have come. Get them off your cell phone and stop reading every brand and price throughout the stores while I am looking for what I need.

do not stop at the top or bottom of an escalator deciding which way you want to go. I will surely run you down.

Parking two spaces farther from the door isn't going to kill you - don't hold up traffic.

Re: PSA - Holiday Shopping Tips

walk back to your car
put your bags in the car
start up the car
put on seat belt
and pull out.
this should take 30 seconds tops
not 2 minutes
it is not necessary to call everyone you know to tell them about your purchases
pull out and leave
people are waiting for your spot
