Provera
The doctor put me on Provera for irregular AF - my DH and I are ready for a little one.
Has anyone had any experience with Provera and pregnancy?

Re: Provera
I only have experience with Provera, not pregnancy but I did see an IF dr yesterday and she said she would put me on it after all the tests I have to go through in order to bring it on and then start me on Clomid to move forward with an IUI.
Good luck

Re: Provera
I've taken it before and will likely have to take it again. Why are your cycles irregular? Provera is a bandaid- you might want to explore why you have irregular cycles in the first place.

exactly, your doctor needs to explain this to you more. provera has nothing to do with pregnancy!

Re: Provera
I took provera a few times. It brings on your period ... it's not really a drug that gets you pregnant, it just resets your cycle so you can get a period. Good luck!! I found I was moody when I was on it .. but I blame so much on my mood lately, it's not fair to the drug companies

Re: Provera
I was on Provera to kick start my period when it didn't come. And since then I have had no problems getting AF. I'm glad I chose to do provera. DH and I are trying for our first.

Re: Provera
Im on a Provera period right now and I have been on it before (PCOS) it jump starts your period, kind of a clean slate to start from. It has nothing to do with getting pregnant though. I am using it right now in addition to clomid.
