ps - i wanted jillian or rami ONLY cause christian annoys me with how fabulous he thinks he is. however, his clothes were sick!!!!

I was very disappointed that Rami didn't win. His collection blew the other two out of the water.
He is a true master and each garment that he created was a masterpiece. His attention to details, craftsmanship, innovation and ability to embrace and flatter the female form is amazing. Which is why he really didn;t need this win. He already is a fashion designer. Christina has a lot to learn and needs the money so I guess they decided to give it to him.
Also, Chistian was the most popular with the audience and also VB, the guest judge loves his collection the most, which just proves that he is more of a costume maker, cause we all know what kind of crazy staff she wears. He did have a a few very nice things in his collection but no way was it better than Rami's.
Jillian is very talented but she is not quit there yet in terms of who she is, I think they actually said just said.

This was the first year that I literally sat there wondering who would win. I thought they were all incredible, and so different from each other.
The amount of talent between Christian, Rami, and Jillian...even Chris March...is amazing!
While my favorite was Rami...I think Christian truly deserved it - he really knew how to wow the judges!

I was really impressed with all of them. It must have been hard for the judges. This was the first time it seemed like the final designers were more on par with each other. I would have liked to see Jillian win, being a Long Island girl and all.
I was pretty sure Christian was going to win. Last week the final 4 were on Regis and Kelly and Regis's last question was "Are you happy with the outcome?" and everyone smiled and nodded but Christian said "I know I am." So that pretty much gave it away.

I agree with this. I was truly happy for him. I think all of them will get career op's from this and Christian needed it more IMO b/c he was younger.
Rami already was doing well and Jillian had a huge resume behind her as well!

I agree. But I think the hair thing did Chris in. A little too crazy when they are looking for someone who can translate their collection to a mainstream line.

I really wanted Jillian to win, but when I saw what Christian did, I knew he was going to win...the other 2 collections were amazing, but the work that went into his blew them away

Question... if Victoria Beckham wasn't a judge and didn't rave about how much she loved everything Christian threw down the runway, do you think he still would've won?

Same here...Rami had some nice pieces - the weaved/draped olive colored evening gown was stunning. But his entire collection didn't blow me away like Christian's. Jillian's line was beautiful but it was very commercial. That isn't what they are looking for here.

I was thrilled with the results.
Rami irritated the crap out of me -"I drape, that's what I do". His collection was a big snorefest for me - the choice of colors totally took away from any detail he may have labored over.
I think Jillian is very talented but I also thought her collection was very reminiscent of Ralph Lauren (who she works/worked for) and there were quite a few styles in her collection that she herself wore throughout the season. She designed for herself...which was "eh" for me.
Christian was incredible from day 1. While he's young, he's worked for some incredible designers - Westwood and McQueen!! His collection was gorgeous and impeccably designed & tailored, from start to finish.

Yes. I don't think the guiest jdge matters THAT much in the final competition, there are till the regular judges and show's producers to contend with

I agree. I thought Jillian and Rami had some nice pieces, but I was blown away by Christian's entire collection. I also thought some of the models had trouble walking in Rami's gowns. I was really happy Christian won.

I was all for Jillian till I saw Rami's full line. The details were spectacular!!!!
I like Christian and knew that even if he lost he would have a career, but I thought his line was too couture.
ETA: I think Rami's color choices could have been better, Jillian needs to figure out who she is as a designer and become more decisive (sp?) But I def liked all and think this is the best year yet. I would have loved to have seen the rest of Chris's line though even with the hair.

I honestly did not think he would though. I LOVED Jillian's. Rami was good by for some reason I knew he would not win.
I believe they gave it to Christian cause he was consistently fierce throughout the season and Jillian and Rami already have somewhat of a fashion career at least. For Christian to be 21 and to design and execute like that, he deserved it!

Jillian lives right in my neighborhood - she's in the building next to mine!!!! I saw her on the street not too long ago and everyone kept saying "good luck - hope you win!"
I thought Rami's collection was the most beautiful, Jillian's was the most wearable and Christian's the most edgy.
The two tone feather dress? HUH?
He is funny though.

i was going to say the same thing i thought that dress was horrible,
yes the rest was ver couture and amazing but when i saw that dress i literally said "She looks like a chicken!"

I finally got to watch it last night after Idol.
I thought they were all great, I loved some of Jillian's stuff but I was expecting more from her in some way, I'm not sure how.
Rami's stuff is beautiful but I agree his color choices are strange sometimes.
Christian is a rare talent at the age & he's such a little charater!
My favorite part of the whole thing was Heidi huggging him, he's SO small she had to bend totally over like she was hugging a kid, I thought it was cute.
I have a feeling they'll all be very successful long term.
