Re: progestrone shots
I'm so sorry about your loss.
Progesterone shots shouldn't cause a miscarraige. It's possible your progesterone was low before the doctor put you on them. I was taking progesterone injections for close to 10 weeks. Many ladies here who go through fertility treatments to get pregnant go on progesterone and stay on it anywhere from 7 to 12 weeks pregnant.
again, I'm so sorry for your loss, I've been there myself.

Re: progestrone shots
I'm so sorry t his is just awful. I don't even know what to say to you.
A lot of people here are on progesterone...but it is typically within the first 3 months, just in the beginning. What did the doctor say? Can you get a second opinion as to whether or not the progesterone and his Rx caused this?
Again, I am so sorry for the loss of your baby.

Didn't you just get a BFP 1 month ago? From what I've read, quite a few women receive progesterone shots during the first trimester. Did you ever see the heartbeat? I'm certainly not an expert, but I've never heard that progesterone shots could cause a miscarriage. If you don't feel comfortable with your doctor, you should consider switching. Again, I'm truly sorry for what you're going through.

Re: progestrone shots
I'm so sorry. I'm guessing your bloodwork showed that your progesterone was low and that's why your doc put you on the shots. Your progesterone was probably low because you were miscarrying, sometimes miscarriages can be prevented with extra progesterone.
In any case, please call your doctor to get a better understanding of what happened and why he put you on the shots.
