progesterone levels?

I just got a call from the Dr. that they want to re-do blood work b/c the progesterone levels were low. He said it could be becase it is very early in the pregnancy (about 5 weeks) or that the pregnancy is not a good one! I have to go Monday morning.

Anyone have any input on this?

no. He just said they were very low.

I would call back and ask for the number. At this point your progesterone levels should be over 10.

I called back and the office is closed for the day.
I asked if she could give me the number the level is now and she said that the results people left already.
But I think she knew and wouldn't tell me which got me upset! I said "Oh well, now I have to get through the weekend..." and she was like "Don't worry, everything is going to be fine, don't worry..."
To me, her tone of voice meant she knew it was bad news.
I want to cry!

I had low progesterone levels all through the first trimester. My number was always around 12............I was put on supplements from weeks 5-12 and everything turned out fine. I'm 34 weeks now and baby is great so try not to worry too much about it right now. Everything could be just fine!!
