Progesterone
HI- I am 8 weeks pregnant today and my doctor just called to tell me that they want me to start using the progesterone suppositories because my level is at a 10 and they want them a little higher. We heard a heartbeat, and the baby measured perfectly this morning. Should I be concerned? I tend to want to believe that the doctor is just being cautious. Even though she told me not to worry I still am very nervous. I think I just need to hear that I am over reacting.

Re: Progesterone
No need to be concerned just be informed. If you are feeling a little uneasy call your doc and ask for a little clarification. Im sure everything will work out. Good luck!

I was on them with my pregnancy - and I was very concerned, but my doctor made me feel better about it when I called and talked to them
Feel free to FM me if you have any questions.

Re: Progesterone
Thanks for the words of encouragement. My doctor did put me at ease a bit. This is my first so I am just freakin out over everything. I think I just needed to hear that someone else was on these and the pregnancy went to term.

Re: Progesterone
I was put on them at six weeks for a month. Just make sure you lie down after using them because it all comes right back out if you are walking around.

Re: Progesterone
Thanks for the advice- this sounds like a lot of fun. A month is a long time.

Re: Progesterone
As long as you are not bleeding don't worry. You should get the suppository gel. It is called Crinone. You use it every night until about 14 weeks.
