Probably a silly question....
But I've been thinking about it, and I don't get it - what does it mean to be "more fertile"? Like when they said you are more fertile when you first come off BCP, or after you give birth, or have a miscarriage - what about you is more fertile? Does the egg stay longer? Is it just more likely to "accept" sperm?
Anyone want to humor me with an answer.
Thanks!

It is specific. I know after m/c and d&C your lining is fresh and may make for easier implantation. BCP I'm not sure as I have never been on them. After you give birth I think is more of a surprise thing-like you could ovulate without knowing it.

Re: Probably a silly question....
mr dr said kiddingly that after coming of the pill "all your ovaries want to do is ovulate"...so I'm assuming its because its been so long that they didnt release an egg
