Re: prius?
KellyFG has one and loves it! My BIL got one - he used to ride his bicycle to year round (he's in Boston), so when he finally broke down and got a car, I guess the Prius was the next best thing!

Re: prius?
my dad has one and LOVES it. He drives from the North Fork to Queens on Monday mornings and stays in there during the week. He said it's small enough that he can fight into spots that his old car couldn't and the gas mileage is great! HTH! He has had it for about a year and no complaints so far.

Re: prius?
I got my Prius in Feb 08, I already have 23,000 miles & I've averaged 51 MPG since I got it. I drove a small car before & my Prius is actually bigger. I think it handles great, I love some of the features like Smart Key and I especially love driving in the HOV lane alone!!!

Re: prius?
my car!!!!!! I have a 2007 touring edition... it handles great, the milage is awesome, and that new safety feature (what is it called again? it is a computer aided system that restores traction when you skid) is amazing...
it's about as roomy as an accord. the back seat legroom is great.... the touchscreen display is very easy to use. the keyless entry is great. it won't let me lock the door if the sensor is inside or if the engine is running.
overall I love it. I don't think I could ever go back to a 'normal' car again
I should also add that the back seat folds down, so it can haul much more than you would ever expect...

Re: prius?
We have one. Great vehicle! The size is deceiving! I'm 6'1" and I'm still comfortable in it and the car actually holds the same amount of stuff, if not more, than our Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has a lot of pep, handles very well and is a nice ride (I've had a number of passengers comment on that.)
Our only complaints are related to the display unit & navigation menu. The display unit can get a lot of glare, which we were able to solve by purchasing a "visor" from a seller on Ebay. And both my DH and I find the menu options for the navigation system to be somewhat confusing and frustrating. For some reason we've never had an issue figuring out the menus on any other nav system, but this one just throws us every time.
