Price Difference

So I went to cvs and noticed items were a bit more expensive there than at babies r us.. I would have thought this wasn't the case.. I was in the babies aisle and everything I saw was cheaper at babies r us. So basically I should always buy baby items at babies r us and not cvs? Chat Icon

CVS is notoriously more expensive than big box stores. I only buy things there if there's really good coupons or sales.

Price Difference

Not necessarily.

I buy formula at CVS. DS is on Nutramagin which is probably the most expensive. It's about $2 more expensive to buy a can at CVS than to buy a can at Target.

However, CVS gives awesome coupons. I use my CVS card and get coupons all the time. Every week or so, I get a 25% off coupon (applied to the total order). Plus, I earn CVS bucks which can be used on anything. This past weekend I bought $110 worth of formula- between CVS coupons and enfamil coupons I paid $63.

I don't think BRU and BBB allow you to use their store coupons on formula and other certain products.

I would just do the math, shop around, and see what the best deals are. There's also places like BJs, Costco, Target, etc. for other items. Burlington has great deals on certain baby products (I found the bottles I use for about 1/3 of the price).

I agree w/ PP, if you shop there regularly you get awesome coupons with their Extra Care card, and they usually let you use all coupons together. I find BRU to be awful w/ coupons, but better w/ actual sales...so you really have to shop around and do math if you're looking for the best deals. And always use the machine at cVS to print your coupons before you shop.
