Holy Crapo what a price difference
I was looking at the monitors in another post and someone put one from Walmart which is $155

Same one at Buy Buy Baby is $229

I feel so guilty registering at BBB or BRU now

I noticed the same thing when I was registering with a few items..I think the thermometer and the highchair were two big ones...
At least at BBB they can use a 20% off coupon, and sometimes BRU is sending them out now too..that can help to offset the price difference.

are you sure its the same one? is one analog and one digital? thats NUTS but a great find if they are the same! if anyone is looking to get your monitor, just tip them off to walmart

I am actually the one who registered at Walmart. I did my research and everything I wanted at BRU, Walmart had and was much cheaper. For instance My monitor, and all my Fisher Price items. I couldn't have my friends and family paying so much more for the same exact thing at BRU.
So I did 2 registries...one at BRU and one at Walmart. Most of my big items were at Walmart and the savings were incredible. The only downside to Walmart is a lot of the stuff is "online only" and not carried in the store.
As long as you have family members and close friends that don't mind ordering site to store it works out the same as buying in the store. BC they don't charge you shipping that way.
Pretty happy I went with Walmart. 95% of my registry has been bought out already and my shower isn't until June 5th.

Good call. My invites are printed already or I would change it myself.

Yeah I was really happy how it turned out. Obviously BRU and BBB have most of the things we mommy's need and we can't get around it. BUT, to be able to save on the big items for both my family/friends and me/DH makes me really happy!! I didn't even know they had a registry until I did a search for product comparisons.
Also, the bedding and rocker/glider was much cheaper there. Just a heads up if you haven't registered yet. I just set it up online b/c I had seen everything at BRU and switched it from that registry to Walmart.

I shouldn't have looked because my pack and play is 40 bucks cheaper and the swing 50 dollars...bru is so over priced. I wish they weren't online only because I would register there.

FYI: for most of the baby stuff walmart offers the free ship to store. i have used ship to store before for other things and it worked out good.

Yeah some of the stuff is in the stores, but most of it is Online only or in other stores across the US that can be shipped directly to store (no shipping) or to the home (for a shipping cost)
What I did was I told my mom to spread the word about why I chose Walmart (that it was to save them money) and I swear that registry went like "wildfire". People love a good bargain 
Most of my FP stuff was at minimum $40 cheaper than at BRU. I can't believe how much they charge there for the same exact products. THE NERVE!!
