Preschool/Camp Birthday Party Q

So my son (2 1/2) goes to a small preschool 2 days a week. I work during the school year so I rarely do pick up and drop off. I know many moms from the neighborhood, but haven't met anyone new really. Now he's in camp the same 2 days, since I'm off, I do pick up and drop off. This past week, all the kids had an invite to a birthday party in their cubbies. It was for a 4 year old girl, so not in his group probably. No RSVP, just sounds like an open, fun time (bounce house, petting zoo, cake.) I have no idea who the parents are, so I feel silly going, but some of his friends, and moms that I am friends with are going. The other negative is it is at 3, which can be a witching hour for him. Would you go? I think it's awesome she invited everyone, and it sounds so much fun, but I'm worried I'll feel like an idiot since she has no idea who I am. Also, if I do go, what do I buy a 4 year old girl?
Thanks!

We've gone to about 1/3 of the parties we were invited to. I work too & don't really know many of the parents, but I go, smile a lot & always end up having good conversation.

If it sounds like fun, go! The age gap isn't huge. My kid's closest friend in preschool was 1.5 yr older than him. Only way I knew was because I went to a school play & saw DS hugging this kid

Thank you! I love to chat up/meet new people. In my mind, I was thinking the mom would think it's weird we went since I don't know her, but of course she wouldn't invite people if she didn't want them to come. At least that's what I hope lol
