Preschool & Taxes
I send my son to private catholic preschool - about 3600 for the school year.
I dont think this is tax deductible, correct? Yet read that it is eligible for tax credit if both parents work (or go to school full time) and use the preschool as a form of childcare. Just wondering if I am understanding correctly.
Can anyone shed some light? Thanks :)

Re: Preschool & Taxes
Yes you can claim the pre-school on your taxes. I would just ask them for a receipt and their tax ID #

Preschool & Taxes
you can only claim it on your taxes if both parents/guardians are working and the preschool is used as daycare. you will need the school's tax ID information at the time you complete your tax return.
