preparing to TTC
What are some things i should be doing as I prepare to soon start TTC?
- I have already gone off BCP - I opened an account on mymonthlycycles.com so I can start tracking my cycles - I have been taking 1 a day women's vitamins (as often as I can remember)
I plan to try to get more in shape before I start as well, although I havent gotten to that point yet. (you know how that goes...)
Oh how i wish i could just START already! the wait is already killing me and I havent even started yet!
ALso....once i DO start TTC....what else do I need to add to this list?

Re: preparing to TTC
I would make sure you are current with your GYN appointments and exams, PAP etc. Its also never a bad idea to go see your GYN for an overall check-up and talk about TTC.
A woman's one a day is good but you may want to switch to a prenatal vitamin which usually had more folic acid which is crucial for the first 8 weeks of fetal development to rpevent neural tube defects. You can just get a prenatal over the counter of get a prescription from your GYN
Some people don't change anythign else.
I cut out caffeine, alcohol and artificial sweeteners as per my midwifes recomendation and research on TTC.
You can also ask your practitioner about that.
After that, try not to stress to much and enjoy the baby making!!
