When should you start taking a prenatal - and what brand is recommended? TIA

You should talk to your dr about when to start prenatals. I started taking them hen I went of the pill. I currently take the CVS brand, but there was a whole post on this I'll see if I can bump it for you....

every doctor is different. mine wanted me on as soon as I stopped the pill even though we weren't trying for 9 months. he believes that the BCP takes a lot of minerals and vitamins away from a women's body, so the better you start prenatals the better.

Same here. We are not TTC yet (probably not untik next year), but she wants me to start taking them as soon as I stop the pill even though we are not trying.
The Dr. gave me a prescription for one. I didn't fill it yet though!
