Prenatal Massage
Any recommendations for a really good prenatal massage? My back pain has recently escalated to almost unbearable Preferably somewhere on the south shore between Babylon and Sayville. Thanks.

I went to Babylon Wellness Center on Main St, it was very good and affordable. Feel better!

Re: Prenatal Massage
I was given a G.C. for two maternity massages at the therapeutic spa in Sayville and just found out that they don't have a pregnancy table. They prop you up with pillows. Does anyone have experience with that? It sounds unstable and uncomfortable. I heard the Babylon spa is good for pregnant women.

I just went there for the first time 2 weeks ago when I was experiencing excruciating sciatica & my therapist was wonderful! I believe her name is Dee. I definitely recommend giving them a try!

Re: Prenatal Massage
Oooh maybe I should ask DH to get me this!
Does anyone know do they allow prenatal massages in the 3rd trimester? The 2nd trimester just passed me on by!

I'm pretty sure they just don't want you to go in the 1st trimester, so you should be fine.

I just went to Massage on the Run in Huntington and they charge $45 for 30 mins. It was such a nice treat- DH got me an hour massage for Valentines day and they let me break it up into 2- 30 mins

Re: Prenatal Massage
I actually had a groupon and tried Cactus Salon and Spa which has mixed reviews. I went to the one at: 5360 Merrick Rd. Massapequa, NY 11758 516.798.8455
There is only one girl who does them and I think her name is Lauren or Heather (I remember thinking it was my sisters name but I have two! Sorry!!)
She was actually really great!! She worked all of the spots that were killing me!!

I haven't gone there for a prenatal massage yet, but I've been to Sandalwood Day Spa in Massapequa for swedish massages in the past and they are great. I'm planning on making an appointment for a prenatal massage soon.
