Pregnancy Tests

So how long do you wait to take a pregnancy test?
How soon can it be detected and what are the best ones to buy??

hiii, congrats on ttc!! i am not ttc yet, but will be soon.... i just wanted to pop in and tell you that usually you should wait til you miss your period to test.. and ive heard the type of test doesnt really matter much.. theyre all pretty much the same.. even dollar tree has some that ive heard work fine. good luck to you

I tested about 5 days prior to AF and got a BFN. I waited till AF was 1 day late and BFP

The best time to test with any test is once AF is late. Testing early can give you a BFN when you might be pg. Also you might get a BFP with a chemical pregnancy and then when AF it will be more devestating than it needs to be. If you can resist the temptation, I would wait until you are late. By that time any test will give you a BFP.

with that said, I know how hard that is...I honestly went to dollar tree and bought 15 tests, I figured id spend that much on 2 at the pharmacy so it was ok...and I started testing at 8dpo cause im a crazy

I tested negative on days 8-10, day 11 fmu was negative for some reason I decided to test later in the day and it was very faint positive, so I called dh and asked him to bring home a test, he brought a digital and it was positive too

I tested 4 days before AF was due and got a BFP. I used EPT.
