I think another part of the idea should be that only members could see the infertility board... not sure about the pregnancy after infertility board, but I'd just feel better if things we post didn't come up in google searches 
I agree!! I am an open book, type of person, but I sometimes feel that there are somethings that I only want to share on here and not to the whole google world.
Also, are far as emoticons go.
We should get the one that taps the fingers. I notice myself doing that more and more, as I wait for a call back from the doc, as the 2ww drags on...etc.

I am starting to wonder about him.

I think that's a great idea - i often wondered that myself when posting a lot on here. If Relationships can be private.. then i think this board and the m/c board should be too. A lot of people use these boards for comfort and support and don't want to worry about their personal info coming up in someone's random Google searches

I'm not pregnant but I think that is a great idea. When I was pregnant and before my m/c, I belonged to a due date board where frankly, the concerns of most just were not mine. The wait for a beta report or u/s is just not the same when you've been through what weve been through. They were already posting belly-bump pics at 7 weeks and I was scared out of my mind that I would never see a heartbeat let alone get to take belly pics. They were already talking about baby furniture when I my mind, I at least needed to make it to week 12 and some testing before I could begin to think about something like that.
I just did not fit in and it was not their fault...I was just in a different situation than they were. That being said...I think it's a fantastic idea to have a Pregnancy after Infertility board.

I agree 100%. I just mentioned this in another post. The IF board and miscarriage board are very different than the others. These boards are purely for support and I sometimes feel like if they were "private" more women would be inclined to post.

I think it's a great idea! I've done the pg thing both ways, naturally and after 3 years of IF treatments, it changes the way you view certain things! I still come to the infertility boards to check on everyone and bc it feels like my home  I also go to the pg board but mostly read since moat of the craziness going through my head is only understood by you guys

And thats totally ok. Whats good about having a separate board is that when ur cycling and slightly crazy, you might try to avoid pregnancy-related boards, where right now, there's not really separation. (or at least that was my case lol)

on a seperate note, I LOVE the 2 diff board ideas! I always look for hope and advice and sometimes like to see stories of women who have gone on to be pregnant after IF.
and WHEN I do get pg, I still want the connection to these girls. They've been a really important part of this process for me!

I agree as someone who is 27 weeks pregnant after 5 years of IF treatments I often don't feel like I belong on the pregnancy board, even though every one is super nice over there. I come back to the IF board all the time (several times a day ) I'm all for the new board!
I feel the same way. Some days I feel like IF has scarred me and other days I feel like it has made me so much stronger.
