Pre-natals

If you are on taking pre-natals, how long have you been taking them?

Re: Pre-natals

i'm just on over the counter ones and i buy them when they're on sale BOGO... i've been taking them for a year and a half even though we aren't TTC even still yet.

i read that all women of childbearing age should take them. they have all the same stuff as a regular multi-vitamin plus the folic acid.

my thinking was 'just in case' because accidents do happen and if i'm going to take a daily vitamin anyways might as well make it that?

How long were you taking them before you got your BFP? Just curious!

I've been taking them for 8 months now... I have heard that its recommended you take them for 3-6 months before, but there are plenty of women who did not and they conceived and had babies just fine.

Cheeks, take a pre-natal. The most important thing is Folic Acid. But the pre-natals get you ready in a way multi's cant. IMHO.
