Prayer Request--UPDATE
UPDATE: First let me say thank you all for the prayers and kind words. This board just overwhelms me sometimes (in a good way). Sadly, it does not seem that this is our time, just yet. There were many questions surrounding the situation that we could not get answered and could not in good faith make the commitment to this child/birth mother. While deeply saddened by this, I have to trust that, for whatever reason, we are making the best decision possible...and have faith that when the time for our family is right, we will know.

I can't get into too many details just yet, but Mitch and I may have a chance to adopt in the very near future. He is a little unsure due to a few of the details of the birth mother. Please pray that we have the wisdom and strength to make the right decision here and that if we go through with it that the child is healthy. Thanks so much!

Heavenly Father, You know our path dear Lord, we pray for wisdom in this situation.. We pray for a glimpse of knowledge of your will for our lives and this precious little baby. We pray for a definate answer here Lord that what ever decision is made that we are left with no doubt what so ever.. That the out come will bring us peace no matter what you choose.. I pray for discernment Lord in this situation.. I pray for everyone involved here and for the best interest of everyone.. We pray for a healthy baby no matter what.. We know you will give us our hearts desires if we follow your path.. We know this path is narrow Lord God but we need you to lead us on Your path.. Thank you Lord and we pray this in your holy name.. Amen..
Good luck on what ever happens..
