PP bleeding question

I am 4.5 weeks post vbirth

For the past 2 weeks I have only been spotting. I woke up today and I a bleeding pretty bad. Is this normal.

I am bfing/pumping.

I also took my twins to hop and bop yesterday and was very active...could it be related?

You could have gotten your period. Thats what happened with me.

i think its normal. it comes and goes. at 6 weeks, i got what I thought was my period but then it was gone less than 2 days later. Same thing at 10 weeks. My normal periods are MUCH longer (like 7-8 days).

I am 12w PP now and cramping like I am about to get my period again for several days. Things are just so outta wack.

(now that I look at this time though, maybe this is ovulation and I am getting my period every 4 weeks, just VERY short, periods?)

call you OB but I was told spotting and some heavy bleeding are totally normal for the first 6-8 weeks

I was told that any bleeding before 6 weeks is pp bleeding. I bleed for 7 weeks strait with the twins. But it did have times of being heavier or lighter. Considering that you are BFing, I would not think it is your period.

Totally normal. My bleeding basically stopped, then got heavier for a few days around 6w pp and then stopped. I got AF at 9w1d pp. I'm not BFing.
