I think it's easy to figure out. There are plenty of classes you can take out there or find an online tutorial.

You can download a trial version on Microsoft, and they also have a tutorial titled, "Creating your first slide show".
Its pretty easy to pick up if you know the other office products.

It's easy. There are advanced techniques if you want to get really creative, but I think it's more professional so have fewer bells and whistles.
