Potty training spin off...
Has anyone tried to potty train their child when they were not yet really verbal?
DD doesn't say much of anything at all yet. She's only got mama and dada down and she's almost 17 months.
I've heard to delay potty training until they are somewhat verbal.
any thoughts?

Potty training spin off...
The 3 day method states 22 months is ideal. I personally think my ds def needed more than mama and dada but I wish I had done it before he was 2. Cause now he is so dam stubborn. I'm sure he can go on the potty and stay dry but he's too stubborn to do it.

Potty training spin off...
We potty trained DS at 19 months using 3 day method. He knew peepee and poop words. It was the best thing we could do. It took us 4 days and he was fully potty trained- he slept in a twin bed since 16 months, so it was easy for him go get out in the middle of night too. PM me if you have any questions!!!

Did you try yet? My DD is the same. She totally gets the concept but is too damn thick headed to actually do it! I just read all 50 pages. I have to pick a weekend that will work best. I'm a little nervous to do overnight without diapers though
