Potty Training Question - I think my toddler is taking advantage of me..

Potty training question....so whenever DS1 poops or pees in the toilet he gets a toilet surprise (toy). But I feel that sometimes he tricks me into thinking he "went" just so he can get a toy. With poop, it's easy to see if he did it or not but with pee, it's hard cause I can't hear the pee hitting the water and I can't see it either. Is there something in the market that allows the water to change color if pee is added to it??? I hope I'm making sense..

I don't have boys but with dd I have to look closely to see if she's wet. If she went, there's usually a few drops on her as evidence lol.

I would go with him the next few times and see what happens

But also when my son was first trained I swear he went every 20 min lol

Sometimes just a few drops.

Lol! We had them use a potty, and you could see the liquid. Funny problem!

My DD didn't get prizes for going, but she would still tell us she went when she didn't.
