Postponing jury duty after first postponement
Has anyone postponed after they already sent in for a postponement once? I put in for one in September and now in January, the week I am called, I have pre-op testing at hospital that week I am on jury duty call and cannot miss this appointment. I thought you were allowed two, but it doesn't seem that way on the form that was mailed. I don't mind serving and doing this, but unfortunately I cannot put off my appointments that month.

Psotponing jury duty after first postponement
I believe you can postpone twice without an issue. The third time you have to report.

Are you in Nassau County?
If so, you need to contact the commissioner of jurors office to postepone a second time. You cannot do it online.

If so, you need to contact the commissioner of jurors office to postepone a second time. You cannot do it online.
I'm in Suffolk. I called and they said I need a dr's note. My dr appointment I cannot miss is three days after the first day I am on call. She didn't make sense as she said I will know the night before if I have to appear on day of my dr appointment and then come in that day with dr's note. Didn't make sense, as that day she was telling me to come in with dr's note, I will be at medical appointment.

She's saying to go first with the note I am assuming
