Postpartum internal stitches- TMI
So the ones from the episotomy have since disolved but I noticed that I have some internal ones and they are still there. I thought it was supposed to take 7-10 days. I'm calling the doc tomorrow... just wondering. TIA

My surgeon (I think we have the same doctor!) said it could take 6 weeks. I think mine dissolved right before my 6 week check up, though I was still in pain at that appt.

Mine bothered me for a month after my PP 6 week checkup with DS and I can tell the same thing is going to happen this time around. I had to get cauterized (no anesthetic) last time and I'm dreading having it done again
