Posting again...about new obgyn rec
Thank you everyone for all of your rec's!! Now I am confused because I have a lot. Lol. But I think I am leaning towards Stony Brook for the hospital I would want to have DC in. I live in Centereach/Lake Ronkonkoma border and I think Stony Brook will be closer to me than St. Charles is. So I am leaning towards Three Village Womens Health. What are everyone's exp with them. Or another DR. who delivers at SB? I am confused now...lol TIA!!

I live in Lake Ronkonkoma. As I said I am very happy with University Associates. I have not visited the regular OBs but I have heard that Jennifer Johnson is awesome! I like the practice because they have every level of care...If for any reason you need a high risk specialist (these are the docs I see) they are all together in this one place.

Re: Posting again...about new obgyn rec
I have been going to Three Village since my first appointment but no experience with delivery yet. Everyone has been really nice (I go to the Patchogue location), the Drs seem really great and the best part is that I never have to wait when I get there. Maybe 5-10 min tops. But sometimes they call my name to go in just as I am sitting down.

Re: Posting again...about new obgyn rec
I like Three Village a lot. The hours, honestly I'm not sure because I'm home, so I just go during weekdays. I don't see any one doctor. Being pregnant, you kind of just see them all. I was happy with all of them. Dr Davenport delivered DS. She was great! I had no complications. We banked the cord blood and she did it no problem. Dr Schoenfeld circumcized DS, and again no problems.
I was her only patient delivering at the time, so we got a lot of attention from her.
Great experience overall. I have not delivered at St Catherine. But I love Stonybrook. You get your own room, and they are very nice, very spacious. Everyone there was great!

The doctors do not have late or weekend hours. I usually go during my lunch hour during the week. I think the latest appointment is around 4-430. If you are okay seeing the NP a few times, she is there later (super nice as well).

Re: Posting again...about new obgyn rec
I've been going there for about 2 years so it's only been a few appointments. My main concern is that I have trouble getting appts with the doctors at the patchogue location so you're probably better off using the setauket office if you can. I was able to get a late appt, maybe 6 or 7pm at Setauket.
