NEW and BFP

My DH and I weren't trying, but we weren't being safe either. ..lol. I have been off the pill for a year and half. I am trying to figure out how many weeks I am, maybe you can help me. The first day of my last period was June 18th. I think I know when I conceived too....

Do I count the weeks from the day we think we conceived or the first day of my last period? Also, I have my first Dr. appt. on Tuesday. What should I expect? Will I get a sono? I am excited but nervous at the same time. I wasn't going to tell anyone or announce it online until 3 months, but the anticipation is killing me and I have so many questions.....

My husband Dave & I are having a baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Late'ish Wednesday, I got a light line on a Dollar Tree test, then a light line on a Walgreens test. The next time I had to tinkle, I used a digital Walgreens test and in less than a minute it came up with:



I had just started seeing an RE and had an internal ultrasound done and was about to start a whole, 'challenge test' thing upon the arrival of AF...but it never showed. I will be with the RE until they 'release' me upon week 8 to my OB....so that's why i have had the tests listed below...

My blood test numbers from Thursday:
HCG was 142
Progesterone was 13
Estrodille was 258.

My blood test numbers from Sunday:
Beta: 307
Progesterone: 19

I have to go for another blood test and an ultrasound on Sunday, the 12th. They will be looking for the 'fetal pole and yolk sack'.

We are 'due' on June 11th, 2009.

We found out the day before christmas eve and announced to our families on Christmas.

I am feeling every emotion under the sun and I am a nervous wreck but so happy at the same time!

Hi girls! Glad to be able to finally join here. My approx. due date is Oct. 18 2 days after my mom's bday.

I also had a chemical pregnancy 2 months ago and last month was 2 weeks late. I finally found out on Friday that I was pregnant. I have been crampy and nervous also though I am trying not to be, but its hard b/c of what happened!

Hi Ladies, I need some support:

I tested positive yesterday, and at 1st was wary about telling people, but I'm so happy, and I have so many questions, that I told a few people.... Just not my family yet....

The thing is - I am going thru so many mixed emotions - we rent a 2 bedroom house, and my stepdaughters stay in the 2nd bedroom on the weekends. We have a big master bedroom and will probably put the crib in there with us...

but, if I am 4 weeks, should I even be thinking about these things?

Someone told me that 50% of all pregnancies end with miscarriage - is that true?

should I "expect" that this may miscarry?

I am so confused right now - we are going on our HM to Thailand Aug. 19th - this was all such a surprise..... The Dr. thinks everything will be ok....

I just can NOT believe I am actually pregnant!!!!

Everyone of our freinds we told are so ecstatic.... And I have moments of such happiness I want to cry, and moments where I wonder if I AM really pregnant....

Is this weird???

Has anyone been shocked at the news, but happy, and at the same time, not really ready to make plans yet???

HELP! What does this mean???? UPDATED

So, I just got married on Friday and DH and I were TTC before. I am due to get AF in 2 days... so I decided to take a test today.

I used the EPT digital Certainty. It came out "not pregnant" but when I ejected the tester, there were TWO BLUE LINES!!

Does this mean that I just don't have enough hormone present to make the digital read out "pregnant"? But there's definitely two lines when I ejected the tester!!!!

What do you think??????

I am getting dizzy spells and I HATE being dizzy. What the hey is happening to me?? Not nauseous really kinda dry mouth from time to time and tummy pains but I get tummy pains because of my IBS (sorry TMI) anyway.

Can anyone tell me if this has happened to them.. is this some sorta sign???

Hi all, just want to introduce myself.

I am an avid poster on other boards and have now transferred over from TTC.

I got 2 BFP yesterday and one this morning.

I'm going to call my midwife tomorrow to schedule my first appointment.

I checked on line and it looks as the my EDD will be July 1st.

Any other July mommies to be out there?

I hope it's ok, but I wanted to start out with a concern and I'm hoping that you guys can ease my fears. I've pretty much done EVERYTHING you're not supposed to do when pregnant in the last 6 weeks because I had no idea. We just got married and while we weren't exactly trying, we weren't being careful either, I actually just stopped taking the pill so we did it one shot I guess. So this was a very happy surprise.

But, in the last 5 weeks I've drank, dyed my hair, went on a week-long goat cheese salad binge, had sushi (only twice I think), drank lots of coffee and I'm sure taken excedrin and advils......should I be worried? My first dr. appt is not until next thursday....

I just wanted to say hello. I have been a lurker for awhile and got my BFP a little less then two weeks ago. I think as of right now I am 5 1/2 weeks pg and my doctor's appointment is the 31st!

Thanks - I took the first test on a lark yesterday, my breasts were tender and I thought I was getting my period but instead just spotted.

I had the equate test under the bathroom sink from a while ago and said to myself, what the hell!! Then

I guess it's time I "out" myself . . .

As I had posted on my first post on this board, after 5 months of TTC, we got our BFP on 11/16 and I am now entering my 11th week on Sunday.

I figure I might as well come out with my true identity now.

I used to be a very regular poster as MrsInfamousOTG. Then I changed my name to Bri and have posted not quite as much and lurk as Bri more than I post.

I created this name once we started TTC and have posted using this name on TTC and this board!

I've been lurking for two months, and now can finally participate in the conversations!

I am 12w3d today with twins! I am a bit nervous to be posting here, still scared every day that something is going to happen, but am a bit more confident that I am past the "magic" number of 12 weeks.

My EDD is Jan.15th. DH and I are so happy and feel incredibly blessed to be where we are.

Here's my little ones at the ultrascreen a week ago. I was 11w3d, both babies were measuring 11w6d.
